Just wanted to point out that Centereach has now clinched a spot for the playoffs for the first time since 1999, clinching yesterday in a 13-1 win over Copiague.

Sal Santoro has done a great job this year, turning a program that last year went 4-15 in league play into a 10-8 squad (12-8 overall) that will be heading to postseason play. Santoro said this was just the team's second winning season since the early 1990s.

Centereach has had quite a wait to get to playoff action, so here's congrats.
